Best Places To Live – Rochester Hills Michigan

This past week MONEY in partnership with Realtor.com created a list of the Best Places To Live – Rochester Hills Michigan made the cut. The criteria for being included on this list was 7o different factors. For a list of those factors, please refer to this – How MONEY Chose the Best Places to Live

Briefly, some of the criteria considered were the economy, cost of living, housing, crime, education, amenities and ease of living. Pretty much what we all take into consideration when purchasing a home in a particular area.  Rochester Hills came in at No. 54 on the top 100 list and we are very pleased with that.

Highlights of places to visit when in the area –

Rochester Hills Museum at Van Hoosen Farm – This is a 16-acre museum located in Stoney Creek Village. Listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Definitely, visit when in the area and if you’re interested in becoming a member take a look at the below video.

Festival of the Hills – This is a wonderful event that takes place annually every June. It is located at Borden Park and it boasts the 2nd largest fireworks display in Michigan. Fun for the whole family!!

Holiday Home Tour & Boutique – Sponsored by Friends of the Library, this festive fundraiser is an event to look forward to each year. There is a gala holiday party followed by 5 area holiday home tours. Entertaining and a good cause all rolled into one!! Mark your calendars as the traditional date of Sunday has changed to Saturday, November 11th.
