Calling All Detroit Sushi Lovers! Are you a fan of sushi? You know the food you might not have found at grandma’s Sunday dinners. Yes. That’s right. Sushi is coming to Detroit and it attracting fans from all over. Mark your calendar for Detroit’s Sushi Festival on August 24, 2018. It is known as the premier sushi tasting event.
Created by the finest local Japanese restaurants, this festival is a one-of-a-kind event, which gives Detroit residents and visitors the opportunity to taste and sample some of the region’s best sushi, Asian cuisine, and entertainment at our city’s historic Eastern Market.
Also, a portion of sales will benefit a local favorite charity known as, Fleece & Thank You. This is a great non-profit which provides comfort and hope to children battling illness by giving donors the unique opportunity to create a fleece blanket and a cherished video message of support and encouragement. What a wonderful idea and opportunity to make a difference in someone’s life during a critical and challenging time. Here’s a video that illustrates what they do.
