The Farmer’s Market Rumor is just that. It is a rumor and nothing more. There is a thought that the Farmer’s Market may be closing, but it is untrue. The Facebook page for the Farmer’s Market has a pinned statement directed towards this rumor. Now that we have cleared that up let’s learn a bit more about what the Farmer’s Market is all about.
This market is located at 316 E. 11 Mile Road, Royal Oak, Michigan and it is open all year around. That’s right! It is not a seasonal market. You’ll find specialty foods and vendors there every Friday from 7 am to 1 pm, May through December, Saturdays year round from 7 am to 1 pm and antiques and collectibles every Sunday from 8 am to 3 pm year round.
There are also special events held there such as the upcoming Beer Fest on Friday, August 25th from 6:30 pm to 11:00 pm. You’ll find over 40 breweries with over 100 brews to choose from.
Another special event which is held the 2nd Wednesday of every month from 5 pm to 9 pm is the Food Truck Rally. Bring your appetite!!
You may not know this, but you can rent the facility as well. The base rental price starts at $3,000 depending on the space you need and the day of the week.
