Oakland and Macomb Weekend Update For September 29 – 30th

The very last weekend of September has arrived! That went super fast in my opinion and on that note, let’s take a look at the Oakland and Macomb Weekend Update for September 29 – 30th.

Sept. 29 – Oktoberfest 2018 Rochester Mills Beer Co. It is October “yet,” that doesn’t stop Octoberfest from happening! From 1 pm to midnight the tents will be open with a $5 cover that will go to charities – kids 18 & under are free w/paid admission. There will be German food, brews, music, and dancing with fun games and activities for the kids

Sept. 29 – Milford Weekend Events – Fall Picnic & Movie at Dusk. Located at Central Park Milford, Main Street between Huron Street and Liberty Street. Milford Twp is hosting their FREE Milford Picnic and Movies series in Downtown Milford at 4pm, showing “A Dog’s Purpose.”

Sept. 29 – Troy Community Center Family Night Out in Troy. The Troy Community Center located at 3179 Livernois, Troy, MI 48083 hosts this fun indoor family event where you can all enjoy swimming, basketball, parachutes, inflatables and more. $3 for residents & $4 for non-residents.

Sept. 29 & 30 – Michigan Renaissance Festival at Hollygrove Grounds  Located at the Hollygrove Grounds, 12600 Dixie Highway, Holly from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Saturdays and Sundays; plus Sept. 28. The cost is $13.95-$22.95 per ticket, This is the final weekend to enjoy jousting competitions, live mermaids, delicious food and more at this annual festival in Holly.

Sept. 30 – Birmingham Farmers Market Royal. Always a fun way to spend a Sunday. Located at 666 North Old Woodward Ave, Birmingham, MI 48009 and running from 9 am to 2 pm. Shop for farm fresh agricultural products and gather with others in the community, while enjoying entertainment and family-friendly activities.

Sept. 30 – Taste of Clarkston 21st Annual Taste of Clarkston. Running from 12:00 pm to 6 pm. Located on Main Street. A one-day event that attracts over 18,000 people from all over Oakland County! We close down Main Street and line both sides of the street with over 50 restaurants and exhibitors.
