Birmingham Ice Arena – You can rent this ice arena for parties, take skating lessons or simply participate in open skating. There really is something for everyone here. You can also catch a game of hockey as this is home to the Birmingham Unified Kings, which is the combined hockey team of Seaholm and Groves High Schools. Fun!!!

Suburban Ice Farmington Hills – They too allow one to rent the arena for parties and you can do all the same things as Birmingham Ice Arena allows which is take skating lessons, participate in open skating or take up hockey. Open skates are usually held during lunch hours (check the website for details). It’s a great resource for those who need to get active or simply enjoy ice skating.

Southfield Sports Arena – The Southfield Sports Arena (located on the grounds of the Southfield Municipal Complex) is a multi-use complex with a regulation NHL ice surface and an Olympic-sized outdoor swimming pool. There are vending machines on site providing refreshments. The Sports Arena offers open skates, ice skating lessons, and drop-in hockey. Skate rental is available on a first-come, first-serve basis.
