Don’t you love when Spring opens its lovely eyes and stretches its arms out as if from a long slumber? I really do appreciate this time of year when the birds return and their sounds fill the air, the ground has the fresh earthy scent long buried beneath the snow. We finally see glimpses of blue through our gray Michigan sky; the sun becomes a tad warmer. And all is well with the world once again.
We are ready for the changes the thawing of the lake brings. While during winter we appreciate the quiet beauty of freshly fallen snow, and in the fall the vibrant colors of the trees, but as each season starts to roll over into the next we are reminded again why this is our favorite time of the year. But we say that after each season comes to its end. Are we Michiganders fickle? I think not. I think we appreciate the gift of nature all of our seasons bring.
Lake life in Oakland County, Michigan never gets old, and Roger and I do not take one moment of its beauty for granted. While the geese are a controversial subject for some lake dwellers, their first honking in the spring is welcome by all. It’s a reminder that winter is leaving and springtime is emerging.
Spring has arrived in the housing market, too. Homes are popping up like May flowers. If you’re thinking of looking for a new home, you’ll have plenty to choose from.
If you’re thinking about looking for a place this spring, shoot us a text or email, and we will help you make that happen.
